Saint Rita of Cascia
Pope Saint John XXIII Parish Parish Church
Founded in 1922 to serve specifically the area’s Italian immigrants, St. Rita became a geographical parish in 1979. While the congregation is still predominantly Italian-American, it has welcomed a number of Vietnamese families.
The parish was administered by the Jesuits from 1979, but is now a church of Pope Saint John XXIII Parish. While there are no scheduled Masses, frequent prayer services are held in the church.
